Co-Founder of Istanbul Children and Youth Art Biennial. Since 2010 she has been taking part as an artconsultant and curator. She has been working as an art consultant and teaching at various cultural institutions and NGO’s, such as Pera Museum, Enka Schools, Bosphorus University Faculty of Education, Borusan Culture Center and Anadolu Kültür. She wrote and illustrated several children’s books. Born in Stockholm, Leyla Sakpinar was educated at Ecole Superieure d’Arts Graphiques, (ESAG) Paris and Parsons School of Design, New York. Artist in Residence, Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris.Working with mediums such as ceramic, sculpture and painting she explores notions of belonging, tradition, nature and the mundane. She has taken part in numerous local and international exhibitions.
ÖZGÜR YENER
Member of board at the Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar (Anatolian Fine Arts) Association. He performed tasks as member of commissions in a variety of activities organized by the Ministry of National Education and by private educational institutions, conducted seminars on the exigence of the art education, run art programs at İstanbul University Fellowship Adıgüzel Fine Arts College, as well as at a number of other institutions. Born in İstanbul, he graduated from the Marmara University, Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Art and Crafts Teacher Education, Painting Department. He completed the master program, titled “Contemporary Art Theory and Practice”, at the Complutense University of Madrid and was approved for doctoral education in 2005. In line with the “Plastics, Technics and Concept” program, he attended to classes such as “pictorial material”, “multiple expressions opportunities”, “collecting phenomenon through historic and contemporary collections”. He carried out examinations in Museo del Prado, in Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, and in Museo Reina Sofia. Having his numerous artworks been included in various private and official collections, he has frequently been directly touching his audience through solo and collective exhibitions, as well.

She is the Turkish High Schools of Fine Arts Curator at the Istanbul Children and Youth Art Biennial since 2014. She acted as the Head of Painting for ten years at Istanbul Avni Akyol high School of Fine Arts. She collaborated, worked on various projects, did workshops and exhibitions with Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Marmara Fine Arts University, Painting Department in Fine Arts Education at Marmara University Ataturk Faculty of Education, Dogus University Art and Design Faculty, Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty, Isik University Fine Arts Faculty, Okan University Fine Arts Faculty, Halic University Fine Arts Faculty and Izmir Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty. She worked with Turkish Children’s Foundation on rehabilitating earthquake-affected children with art. She carried out various social awareness projects for children and young people with non-governmental organisations. She acted as a member of the jury in various national painting contests. She worked as a member of the Ministry of National Education’s commissions for art education. She organised art education seminars for young people. A graduate of Marmara University Fine Arts Education Department of Painting, Kader Akcay has participated in multiple national and international exhibitions. She continues to do her painting and photography work on “humans” as an object in Istanbul.
FIRAT BİNGÖL
Fırat Bingöl has carried out art workshops with children exposed to social exclusion in Diyarbakır and Istanbul with Sosyal Kültürel Yaşamı Geliştirme Derneği/SKYGD (Association for the Development of Social and Cultural Life) between 2001-2004, both voluntarily and professionally. In 2004, he worked as the coordinator of art workshops at Çocuklar Aynı Çatı Altında Derneği (Children Under Same Roof Association). In 2008, he had been the art trainer of Creative Art Workshop for Children in II. International Sinop Biennial. He has been the coordinator of the Social Responsibility Art Workshops project to which the students from İstanbul High School Education Foundation (İELEV) Primary School and Vezneciler Primary School for Children with Impaired Hearing participated together. Between 2009-2012 he worked as art trainer at İstanbul High School Education Foundation (İELEV) Primary School. In 2012, he worked in “Dalgın Sular” (comic book) as illustrator. In 2014, he has taken part in Istanbul Children and Youth Biennial Workshop Programme. Between 2013-2015 he has carried out the hiphop project “einenaynen” in “TANDEM: Cultural Managers Exchange Programme Turkey-EU”. Since 2015, he is carrying out art workshops with refugees with the support of SKYGD. In 2017 he has taken place at KODA (Rural Schools Exchange Network) Project Programme and has made the documentary film of “PeaceBeat” hiphop project of SKYGD. Since 2013, he is working as art trainer at Yeni Okul Primary School. He is also producing in the fields of painting, photography and video in Istanbul.
